Enmeigaku

The Japanese massage Enmeigaku (Extending Life Technique) is used as a sedative technique.

This massage is more physical, something like a western sports massage. Like shiatsu massage, it is done on the floor, changing positions and with the patient wearing comfortable clothes.

Mainly it is done using the thumbs, making the pressure in movement and at a good rhythm, which is why it is so dynamic.

Enmeigaku is particularly effective against stress. It helps to free and relieve tension, dissolving stiffness and thus helping to increase the blood flow. Moreover, it is ideal for eliminating typical muscle aches and pains.
